Monday Luncheon

 Monday luncheons are held fortnightly, and the dates are set up for your information on this link .

The venue for our Monday Luncheon meetings is The Canterbury Club unless otherwise advised. We ask members and guests to respect the Canterbury Club.

Members are invited to bring guests to these occasions.

Our next event is Monday 26th January 2026.   

  • Registrations will be accepted from 1st December 2025
  • Registrations close on Thursday, 22nd January, at 3.30pm.

Monday Luncheon: On Monday, 26 Janauary 2026

Location: At the Canterbury Club 129 Cambridge Tce Christchurch City

Time: Between midday and 2 pm—a plated lunch is served.

Investment to attend: $30.00 per person

Members and guests are welcome to attend the Christchurch Business Club’s lunchtime briefing

Our speaker is His Worship, the Mayor, Phil Mauger. 

Christchurch City Mayor, His Worship Phil Mauger, will deliver his first business briefing for 2026 to the business club as he enters his second term as mayor. He will address the city’s ongoing challenges while acknowledging the city’s successes and completed rebuild projects. 

This meeting is a must-attend for those who have an interest in Christchurch City’s direction and its leadership role in Canterbury and the wider South Island.

Gala Social Events

The Christchurch Business Club organises throughout the year social events that are outside the typical business focus of the club.

These are opportunities where partners are invited to join us at social events, such as live theatre shows, horse racing days and other social events organised by the Club members in a leadership role.

Business After Five Programme

The Christchurch Business Club, Business After Five Programme is an informal occasion to network while expanding your horizons and knowledge in a specific area that will add value to your professional development or business understanding on a selected topic.

This is reserved for non-members who are specialists in their field and offer a content-rich no sales pitch presentation aimed to inform.

The Christchurch Business Club, Breakfast Briefing Sessions an informal occasion to network while expanding your horizons and knowledge in a specific area that will add value to your professional development or business understanding on a selected topic.
